This role takes ownership of leading, organizing, growing, and facilitating our talented R&D team. Your primary responsibility will be to make sure our growing development team consistently delivers highly valuable software to our valued customers at a high frequency with superior quality.   • Job Type:
    • Provide leadership and guidance to mentor and empower the team of currently 60+ developers which are located in multiple European countries. The biggest group of team members is spread across several offices in Germany, helping them unleash their potential and foster their personal career development
    • Continuously improve our customer centric software development lifecycle process to ensure consistent delivery of highly valuable and high-quality software
    • Further sustain and improve our high-performance engineering culture of accountability, quality, agility and fun, in support of our company values and culture
    • Increase our development capacities by recruiting new roles
    • Professionalize the onboarding procedures and means to educate and integrate new team members
    • Enhance our existing processes for advanced quality assurance and a secure software development lifecycle
    • Work closely with the CTO and the Product Organization to determine product requirements and the backlog by prioritizing between new features, refactoring projects and bug fixes
    Technical Knowledge

    You have profound knowledge in different software development methodologies such as Kanban/Lean or Scrum

    • You have exceptional people management and communication skills in a multi-cultural environment
    • You have a strong affinity for technology and empowering the best solutions
    • You have a positive, consensus driven, collaborative, committed and empathic leadership style
    • You are fluent in English (spoken and written)
    Required Experience

    You have at least 10 years of software development and engineering experience while leading larger teams in the development and maintenance of multiple complex software products
